Sample wiper sent for testing arrived with torn clear packaging. However, the wiper and mounting adapter are not scratched and are in excellent condition. Perhaps a testament to how well made they are. The wiper blade is protected by a white hard plastic sleeve that protects it before installation. I have had similar silicone wipers installed on one of our cars for over 5 years and they are still as good as the day I bought them. Remain flexible and pliable for many years with excellent resistance to UV rays, water, ice and extreme temperatures. These wipers are not cheap but will likely last longer than 10 regular squeegees while still offering quieter and superior performance. I would recommend them. Reduce the amount of waste thrown away during the process. 5 Stars.
