It has a solid look, quality design and finished wood cabinet and a clean clear sound. Add SD and USB slots on the side and an input for a CD player or player on the back with Bluetooth capability and you have an all-in-one radio! It's perfect for listening to audiobooks and podcasts via Bluetooth, and just about any other type of media will work with this radio. I have crystal clear audio from my local AM radio station. This inductive coupling method is great for clearing stations that are prone to static build-up, and when the radio is designed to provide the best audio fidelity, you get the best listening experience on the AM band. For the price, this is the best radio investment you can make. Most modern radios have pricier radios and a bass-oriented EQ, but if you want to hear it the way it was when those radios had tubes, this is your radio. My only complaint is the blue LED backlight on the dial. Region. Blue is bad for the eyes and a nice warm amber or white LED would be a better choice. That's the only thing I don't like about this radio, but it's not a problem - I can always use a small flashlight to illuminate the dial. My advice is to buy it before they stop making this gem.
