Review on Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 195/65 R15 95T winter by Stanislaw Stanislaw ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

The most disappointing aspect was the lack of the hellish brawl that had been advertised. The tires make a humming sound, which is to be expected when replacing worn winter tires with brand new ones. The new, elevated tread appears to be substantially noisier than the old rubber. This year, I made two vehicle swaps: (1) from my own FF3 to the aforementioned Bridgestone (Ford makes noise), and (2) from my wife's Capture to this Saylun (which makes virtually no noise). Thus, the Ford has a louder Bridges rumble at any speed. Sailun has a distinct hum only between the frequencies of 110 and 120; outside of that range, it sounds like any other rubber.

Pros
  • The primary benefit is, of course, the low cost. A set of 215/60 R17 tires cost me sixteen thousand. If an expert doesn't see the brand name on the sidewall, I doubt they'd guess that the rubber is made in China just by looking at the tread pattern. The wheels have balanced tires. The installer was taken aback; he had just donned a fresh pair of Breeches Blizzak Spike shortly beforehand, and he deemed this to be a negative development. Even with the recent snowfall in St. Petersburg, my wife has never gotten trapped while parking the Renault Capture. The perfect deep porridge, from the leaves. It's rebuilt quickly, right after being thrown out of the rut.
Cons
  • There were no high hopes, that's true. I did so knowing full well the risks involved, and thus far, there have been none.
