Review on Zalman S5 Black Medium Tower ATX Case with Glass Panels - Enhanced RGB Lighting by Ada Borkowska ᠌

This case (in white) was purchased for assembly based on MSI X570-A Pro, R5 3600, Dark Rock 4, GTX1080ti. Initially, it was clear that the ventilation was so-so, but I wanted to believe that it would pull out my config. Yeah, right now :) In stock, it is equipped with 2 fans. In total, I counted 8 seats for valves: 3 on the face, 2 on the bottom, 1 at the back, 2 at the top. The quality of the case materials is average, but already on the verge of a foul, a little more and we slide into China. I would like the metal to be a little thicker, the USB-Hub with a block of buttons of frankly Chinese quality, it would at least be covered with plastic. The materials show that the product of the stars from the sky lacks a strong average economy class. Of course, you won’t expect any silence from this case, but the most primitive vibration dampers are on the PSU site and when installing glass. I liked the cover on the back panel that covers the cables. Did the manufacturers finally come up with such an obvious and simple idea. Finally, from the back, the assembly does not look like a bundle of street wires in South Asian countries. Who saw it will understand (: The backlight is quite nice, it has several modes of operation (a button on the side to switch) with and without overflows. You can turn it off completely (special thanks for this). Efficiency, as expected in stock, is low. The processor heats up to 90C with peaks up to 97C in Aida's stress test. Alas, after installing three DeepCool front fans, airflow did not improve much. I don’t know what guided Zalman when designing this miracle, but they could have guessed to make a MESH face right away. In the meantime, I had to remove the front iron cover, which immediately turned the beautiful case into an incomprehensible old bucket. As a result, I think Zalman turned out to be a strange case, with a nice design and an acceptable price, but all this magnificence is killed by zero airflow. For the design of 4 Johnny Quince out of 5, you can safely bet. Nevertheless, I do not recommend this case due to problems with ventilation, it is non-existent. Kick at least up to Matrexx 55 MESH.
