Right out of the box I installed the batteries as directed, the light wouldn't even come on in a darkened room. Checked new batteries which showed 1.5 - 1.55 volts DC. I played around with putting batteries in a block and it finally worked (5 minutes). The other two turned on intermittently when playing with batteries, but turned off as soon as the battery compartment cover was closed. The blocks behave as if they were not connected to the grid with battery poles. Not worth the money and bother and sent back.
