I really wanted to love these charms and even though for the most part they are very nicely detailed, I am extremely disappointed in the variety they dole out in each order. I think they must grab a handful of charms without thought and stick them in a bag and ship them out!The majority of charms that I received in my 40 charms were rabbits of various shapes and sizes, then a number of teapots. I got one Alice by herself and one Alice without a face with the cheshire cat in a tree. The creepy thing about this particular charm wasn't the fact that alice has no face, it was the fact that the cheshire cat looks more like one of the scary monkeys from wizard of oz and nothing like the cheshire cat!And then there are 5 charms that completely confuse me as they look more like Holly hobby girls and nothing and no one of the characters from Alice and wonderland! I received 3 of those girls along with two cutsie animals ( are they bunnies or squirrels? I don't know!) With flowers on their heads ( see 2nd picture as I circled the 5 charms in question)My dilemma is, since they won't work for what I originally intended them for, I could make charm bracelets out of them. I'd get one charm where there would be alice, a rabbit, a teapot and playing card and clock and key, and someone would say, Oh, cool Alice in wonderland bracelet you have there! But after that first one, any subsequent bracelets I make, someone's going to think I have a thing for rabbits or teapots because that's all that I'd have left!So unfortunately I will be returning them. Like I said, I really wanted to love these, so many people gave them a 5 star review, I thought for sure I'd have no problem with them! But I do have a problem with them. They should have sorted out a better ratio of charms so that you could pair them up together nicely in whatever you were going to use them for. They should leave the Holly hobby charms to the Holly hobby charm set, but the way they just scoop up a random set of forty, makes it impossible to use them in any cohesive manner!
