You will need a ratchet extension and a small socket (I think I used 5mm) to remove the old relay.
I would recommend using a saber saw to cut a small hole in the plastic housing under the passenger side light. If you already have one handy, then great; They are inexpensive and can be used for everything from drywall to woodcut. If you don't understand what I just said, I recommend a mechanic. *smiles*
