Works great: Replacement parts

Fixed fan got stuck in 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it was pretty easy using the hole drilling method found on YouTube. Now the fan stops and runs normally.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Don't remember

Don't buy assuming it's still under warranty

Doesn't work! Can't return as I can't reach the seller. When I went to the page it was on it had a different supplier's name which is why Amazon didn't send my email!

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Sometimes you get what you pay for so you don't have to buy Chinese products

This is a cheap, low quality Chinese imitation. Now I know why it was only $18 and that's $55 in AutoZone, big difference inside. This device lasted about 10 days and then my van overheated, I almost lost the radiator.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Worked great on switches and relays

2000 Jeep Lardeo, passenger headlight removed but 5 x 5 inch opening. Two Phillips screws later came out. Removed and replaced electrical connector. It's 100 F today, I sat in the car for 30 minutes with the AC on, the temp didn't rise out of the mid range. Problem solved. No more dead battery in the morning because the fan stays on.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some small things

I would recommend using a saber saw to cut a small hole in the plastic housing under the passenger side light. If you already have one handy, then great; They are inexpensive and can be used for everything from drywall to woodcut. If you don't understand what I just said, I recommend a mechanic. *smiles*

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Not recommended, avoid it.

Good everything worked fine for about two weeks. Then a complete failure. Wang overheated. Choose Dorman or Gates. There's no guarantee of that, now it's clear why. Apparently my experience is far from unique. A large current flows through them, so they must be durable. Apparently it wasn't this one. Be alert, do business elsewhere. It's not worth saving a few bucks. Now I have to spend more to get a good one.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Bad impression
