The twist on these amazing tent pegs allows me to drive them into harder ground a little easier. They have a good grip at the top for easy on and off and they worked great to hold my small tent even in moderate winds. Although I tested them with a small tent, I actually intended to use them with my new backyard greenhouse, which has some non-material pegs to use to secure the lid, but that's what my kit should have come with Greenhouses because they really stay in the ground and hold things. . I stick them into the ground at a slight angle, which makes sense given the direction of the wind to hold things up. Overall I'm very happy with their quality, they seem durable and definitely easy to use.
