The elastic fits snugly around the corners of the mattress and won't come loose. I've only had these sheets for 6 weeks and have only washed them 3 times and today I noticed what appeared to be damage to the top flat sheet like someone had scratched it with a knife or maybe the fabric had been damaged. I always keep it covered with a veil so I don't understand what it is? It can just be a defective part. . Can I get a replacement for this? After all, I paid good money for it. Four months later the fitted sheet had a large tear and I have never used bleach and only washed those sheets once or twice a month. Haven't heard from the seller so I wouldn't recommend these sheets! They seem strong at first but why do they tear so easily when I don't even use bleach? And it's only 4 months!
