Installing this socket in the motorhome was simple and straightforward. The internal cabling is already laid. All you have to do to get this box working is install the box and connect the 50 amp power line. The lid doesn't close easily, and the spring latch provided to secure the lid is problematic at best. it constantly jams and doesn't fix the lid well. If the cover is not properly attached, weather protection will be compromised. I like separate circuit breakers for each outlet. The lid allows for the placement of the RV cord when the lid is closed. All in all, this is a good outlet to power your RV with AC power.
