2.5 ml is a great weight for storage. If you are looking for something for freezing this isn't the bag. Because it is only 2.5 ml it is also not as good for storage of something that is used a lot, it won't take a lot of abuse. I bought these for my kids' board puzzles. The puzzles fit great, but because the plastic is so thin, they wear out after a couple of months.
