They appear to be legal. Waves 6mm. They should take 1/4 inch from the description.
I needed these. I do not regret it. They ate well in 20 minutes of mild steel and fixed the pan. They seem to stay sharp. Mine were NOT 1/4 inch. Those are 6mm shafts. I needed a 6mm collet to keep them in place. Luckily I had a 6mm collet.
