After reading many reviews here and elsewhere I was quite skeptical before purchasing. Everything from quality control to compatibility issues. I don't game or edit, I just needed a monitor so 1) I wouldn't crane my neck looking at my laptop and 2) it would look pretty because I refuse to look at anything ugly. for 8+ hours a day. I ended up reading so many reviews about dropped connections and incorrect scaling, red spots, green spots, backlight bleeding, etc. I unboxed it today, plugged the USB-C cable into my Macbook Pro and voila, this one turned on a beautiful display and worked. I've been using it for several hours now and I'm completely satisfied. Definitely recommend buying something with bezels that thin as the aesthetics are second to none. I have it on the lowest brightness level (1/100) because my room is dim with accent lighting and I don't see how anyone could think it's not bright enough. So overall I can't speak for power users, but as this monitor is clearly not made for gaming, this is a solid, solid option if you want something for office work that looks good, and for the price I don't think so many are close or look almost as good. I watched some 4k videos on YouTube and the colors and sharpness were phenomenal. If you're reading this and don't want to play or edit, then by all means don't let the other reviews put you off.
