Small, light, sharp, high macro magnification (1.25x in micro 4/3 format). Slow speed isn't a problem for macros if you need to stop anyway. WARNING: At maximum zoom, the working distance from the front of the lens is just over half an inch, causing lighting issues (I deducted a star for that). Because the lens can slightly obscure the subject, the light needs to come from the side. In addition, anxious subjects may flee. That's not a problem for me, but if it bothers you, a longer macro (like the Olympus 60mm f/2.8) offers more flexibility at the expense of more size and weight and slightly less magnification.
