It all depends on what your goal is. I use mine with my computer. I've tried many different mics and find the lavalier mic works best for me. I used lavalier USB mics as well as a 3.5 plug-in mic. "Golden Wave". I found this less confusing than the app that starts with "A" but it's a good app too. What I find interesting, and I'm by no means an expert, is that if I plug in a lavalier mic 3.5 and then plug it into my computer when I'm not recording, almost on what I call "jumping tapes". no label. However, to get a clean record, I run a clipboard filter that removes any small noise that may be present. Every lavalier USB microphone has always had some counter bars. I don't know what trusting the above recommendations means and of course it's very thin that's why I gave the sound quality four stars because it's not perfect but very close.
