Review on 📒 Strathmore 455-3, 400 Series Sketch Pad, 9x12 inches, Wire Bound, 100 Sheets, White by Dion Madison

Purchased on 2/26/14 I wanted to learn to draw so I bought some books and pens. This is the sketchbook I've ever had. I found the sketchbook excellent for drawing. The book is sturdy and will stand up to being tossed in my bag for the past month or so. I find it easy to write on the pages and also good at erasing. The pages are of good thickness. The pages are perforated so you can easily remove the pages. The sides catch the light well. I don't have any major negatives but I will explain why I only gave 4 stars. I paid about $9 for this sketchbook. I've seen other books cheaper that seem exactly the same to me. I have a blank book and some notebooks, for a beginner they were probably good enough to get started and only cost about $2. I'm only speaking as a newbie now. I think experts don't even read these reviews. Although I said the sides are of good thickness, they also show through a bit. Although I could push hard. This means that sometimes you can see pencil marks on the back of the page and sometimes some wrong lines on the next page. If the sides were a bit thicker it wouldn't be a problem for my heavy hand. I don't think this will be a problem for most people though.
