Seems to work well. Based on phone, internet and television availability, unbalanced was the way to go to provide the best possible signal for the internet modem. This means that the signal between the three outputs is not the same. One is the best signal and the other two share the rest. The Internet needs the best possible signal, according to Comcast, while a TV and phone can get by with less. I haven't noticed any deterioration in the quality of either the television or the telephone. If you have a Comcast (or other company) triple play package, this is the route you should take if you have a separate phone and data modem.
