I made this to prevent Fl.air from getting on the TV screen and getting particles inside that appear to be part of Fl.air. I also needed something that would be easy to put on and take off without knocking over "things" like the Comcast cable box and infrared channel switch (why didn't Comcast come up with a better idea since it just gets in the way). Since this TV is on a wall mount, I also have to reach up and around it. Although I'm pretty sure I ordered a 50" since my TV is a 50" they sent me a 55" case. At first I thought I could return it but when I used it I presented I firmly that the larger size fits the top and bottom of the TV. tv and I didn't have to tighten my ties. It covered the back slightly and was easy to put on and take off. I am very happy with the quality, the protection of the TV screen and the feel of the material. all at a very competitive price.
