I installed them on the back of my M998 HMMWV as a backup light (trucks didn't come with a light when the Army bought them from AM General). The mounts are a little cracked but have not fallen off. The light was bright enough to give a good backup light. It's been on the truck for six months now. I noticed some discoloration and thought it might appear a little fainter than when it was first installed, but thought it was probably dirt. While working on my Humvee this morning, I put it in reverse and walked around the back to see that some of the LEDs inside were off. Looks like water got in. Suggest finding something more permanent
