This is a good battery for the price but please understand how it works. NOTE: THIS CHARGER WILL CHARGE FOR 10 HOURS WHETHER YOUR BATTERIES ARE CHARGED OR NOT! The charger does not indicate whether your batteries are charged. no charge or "full charge” reached. Basically you put AA or AAA batteries or a mixed combination of batteries in the charger and plug in the charger. Each battery slot has a glowing red light to indicate that the charger is charging the battery in that slot. Once the charger is on and charging a slot, it will automatically turn off after 10 hours. So if your battery really needs to be charged for 15 hours or just 20 minutes, or if you accidentally put in regular non-rechargeable batteries, this device will try to charge your batteries for 10 hours and then turn off. To turn it back on, you need to disconnect and reconnect. Without a separate device, it's impossible to tell if your batteries are fully charged or even need to be charged.
