I prefer a steam mop but I've moved and now have a vinyl floorboard. It is not recommended to clean such a floor with a steam mop, so I needed something else. When I researched the top brands of rotary mops, I repeatedly noticed complaints in the reviews that the plastic handle was prone to breakage. After continuing the search, my attention was drawn to the stainless steel handle. Then I realized that the best reviews for this mop actually sounded like real, non-paid reviews. At this point I decided to give it a try. The mop worked exactly as advertised. The bucket fully rinsed and cleaned the mop with each spin cycle. The water in the bucket got dirtier with each cycle, but the mop was surprisingly clean every time. I washed about 800 square feet the first day I got it using only cold water and the floors looked brand new. Cleaning was easy too. I just drained the water, pulled out a small filter and rinsed and that was it. It was a basic 5 star hotel, right out the gate. As long as the handle and various plastic parts hold up, this will be a huge asset for my house cleaning needs. To be honest I'm not sure how long this mop will last. If it only lasted a year I would lower the rating. I think it should take at least two years. If there were three or more, I would be very happy. I'll update if it looks too soon.
