I’m using the Spornia SPG-7 with roof golf net outdoors, along with a Dura Pro Golf mat and Eyeliner Golf speed trap 2.0. The Spornia golf net arrived in a 34x34x3 inch box. When opened it virtually sprang open and almost self assembled. Although very sturdy, I anchored it with a few stakes, which were supplied. The net is brilliantly constructed, sturdy and durable. It also looks great. No errant shots have escaped the net and most balls are gently rolled back to my feet. The target sheet works well. Any noise is significantly dampened, and there’s no way that a ball will go through the dangling sheet. I expect it will last for years, although it is replaceable. Nothing can replace the feedback from hitting real balls to practice range. But this device is a very close second. You can use it for a few minutes at a time to tweak your swing, and then walk away, something that is rarely done at a driving range, where usually the basket is emptied before the golfer leaves. For anyone considering a practice net, I believe there’s no better choice than this. The extra cost is well worth the investment, given the thoughtful workmanship, ease of setup, easy ball return and durability.
