My plastic cover has cracked enough to pop out of the key fob. I taped the broken spot but that doesn't give me confidence that it will break again. I've seen interchangeable covers and how to hold this chip and many don't even have provision for it. And it's still plastic, so it can always crack. So I decided to try this case. Perfect. The rubber will give even if the plastic breaks again. And as a bonus, I hate that sometimes I accidentally trigger that red button. This cover removes that bulge and you're much less likely to accidentally press on it. Buy it even if your keys are fine.
