Review on Wera 846 Kraftform Countersink Set: Efficient 8-Piece Solution for Precision Countersinking by Andrew Grant

As my title states, this is a 90 degree set so it's primarily for sinking metric flat head fasteners. If you need countersinks for SAE 82 degree pan head fasteners then this is not what you need. Also suitable for deburring holes and jobs where angle is not critical. The fact that these are 90 degree countersinks isn't listed anywhere on the Revain list I could find at the time. This is stated on the box that the kit comes in. Very good surface finish on the countersinks and the ribs that support the 3 cutting faces are wide and should be much stronger than the narrow ribs found on most 5 and 6 blade countersinks. It's still just tool steel, so I wouldn't use them on anything harder than mild steel and non-ferrous metals like aluminum, brass, etc. Since I already have Wera grips and quick release holders, I would like to have a set of countersinks available. without a handle and bit holder, but this is not the current option. It would be nice if Wera also offered countersinks with an 82 degree hexagonal shank.
