I love watching videos of guys opening auto filters to see what they are made of. You're looking for a solid build, lots of good filter media, a good seal, etc. The WIX seems to match or beat the competition on all these counts, no matter the price range. Good filters last longer and repairs are rarer and cheaper. These filters cost about the same as most good filters, but tests have shown they work better! I've used very expensive filters in the past, they work just as well but at a lower cost.
