Sturdy construction. I (210lbs) lay on the bed with my son (36lbs) to put him to bed every night and the bed seems to support both of our weights with no problem. My son also jumps across the room from a raised queen bed to this bed and the bed holds up to abuse without creaking or vibrating. I also love how snuggly the mattress is, leaving no room for treasures that get stuck between the frame and mattress and never found, and sheets and duvets are tucked tight. My son loves his bed and it made the transition from the playpen very seamless. He slept better straight away. It didn't solve all of our sleep problems, but it definitely made an improvement. At night he wants to sleep in his bed.
