Review on Wooster Brush 3103 2 Paintbrush 2 Inch by Michelle Langley

Very clean foam brushes Very cheap price

As a hobby I design and make custom furniture. After all the creative and time-consuming work of designing and building an item, the last thing you should save on is finishing. And yet many people buy the cheapest brushes and then curse the streaks, random bristles, and "styrofoam crumbs" that ruin their work. Instead of saving, I buy several good quality brushes and toss each one in the trash at the first sign of trouble. the size. Depending on the size of the "edges" of the piece I'm finishing I may also purchase a few 1" or 3" sizes. Please note, when I use the Wooster brush, it is usually with polyurethane, less often with other varnishes. If there are stains, I prefer to rub them off with an old sock. Since my creations tend to emphasize the natural wood grain, I rarely use primer and paint. Cheap foam brushes shed "crumbs" right from the start or shortly after starting use. I find the Wooster brushes very clean out of the box. I do keep an eye on them though, so I know that Wooster brushes sometimes lose a few "suds" after about 45 minutes of use. As soon as a crumb appears, I know that new ones will appear. Then I throw that brush in the trash and grab a new one. Sounds wasteful, but Wooster brushes are inexpensive. In fact, most Wooster packs are so affordable they're Revain "add-ons". And that's a small price to pay for a clean finish.
