At first glance, this watch looks great, but the user experience is disappointing, almost to the point of being unusable. Thing is, it's so close that a firmware update might fix it. The problem is how he uses GPS in training. When you start "Run" you can choose whether you want to use GPS or not. Selecting and confirming GPS will attempt to find satellites and get a fix. It may take a few minutes before you get the first fix. Once it gets a fix, it won't beep to let you know there's a fix. You literally have to keep checking the clock. Once it gets a correction and you start a workout, if it loses the correction, the workout recording will stop, but there will be no beep to indicate it's done. And it doesn't try to reconnect automatically. It just gives up, so you have to restart the GPS manually. Therefore, you have to keep looking at your watch to see if the GPS is working or not. I've been frustrated with many workouts where I walk for a few minutes and then find that the connection has been lost and the workout has stopped and I have to manually reconnect. It does this when the sky is clear and the connection is good, but if I go behind a building or something it just gives up and doesn't notify me. The depressing thing is that this can easily be fixed by updating the firmware (but that will never happen).
