Review on Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun: Accurate and Stylish in Black by Greg Bellman

Reviews state this gun shoots baseballs 5-8 mph slower than true speed, correct. I have a high school player who worked on pro gear at burgeoning college camps. This weapon constantly recognizes that it is AT LEAST 8 km/h slower and often much more. Bushnell's gun can still be useful for getting a general idea of how hard a pitcher is throwing and if he's making progress. However, you CANNOT use it to determine the official rate for recruitment purposes. He moves too deep for that. Standing about halfway between the hill and the slab, I add 8 mph to the recorded speed to get a rough idea of the HS pitcher's speed.
