My husband loves this fast weapon very much. He was .

My husband loves this fast gun. He was convinced that people were rushing up and down our residential street. Well, we only spotted one speeding car, much to his dismay, but he still enjoys using it.

  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Great price

Melts in your hands

I bought this product a few years ago and it has worked great. I kept it in the cupboard and recently took it out to use and found that practically the entire rubber or plastic surface would dissolve. Cheap materials can handle it. However, it was sticky too hard and left a sticky mark on anything it touched, so I just had to throw it away.

  • Great design

Works very well for me

I've tested it several times and it's very accurate for measuring the speed of vehicles on the street in front of my house. It works regardless of whether the vehicle is moving towards or towards you. It works through the car windshield so you can sit in the car and take measurements. I've had it for about a month and it's very helpful. I consider this to be good value for money.

Perfect! Best in Speed and Agility Training

I have to say I am VERY pleased with this product. I believe if you follow the directions carefully and make sure you are square on the throw line you will be within 1-2 mph +/-. The readings are fairly stable and I rarely get errors. Even my 8 year old can use it and he has a great time. I think unless you are a professional scout or have a child who is in college or up there is no reason for you to spend more money than on this product. It should meet the needs of 95% of customers. Definitely

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

I had to buy a new toy.

I recently picked up an old X-Band Police Radar and was wondering how it worked. Found this one, the price was right and it's a different group (K I think). The first thing I did was take it apart, in fact it has a real radar horn antenna. Yes I know it will void the warranty but I don't care. The block still works and now I know what's inside. It appears that the design is of decent quality, the molding was reassembled with no fuss. I've used it to track cars and other objects, but not…

Consider saving for a higher quality device.

3 stars because everything is fine and nothing more. The device we bought does not meet the requirements. a fastball at 75 mph in one measurement (which is probably accurate), followed by the same pitch, same location, roughly the same speed. and it's recorded in the 50's. It can only be this unit. but I only have this one block to judge. At this point I would suggest saving a little more and going up a notch to $300 (actually $299). As far as I know there aren't that many issues with a device…

DO NOT buy this! in Exercise & Fitness

This is not a very good quality product. I bought it to measure the speed of cars on my street because we have a speed problem. Bushnell clearly states that you can use this product to monitor traffic speed, so I decided to buy it. Unfortunately, it can't register the speed of cars going over 10mph, and then when we checked the accuracy of the radars they weren't accurate in timing actual speed. When I tried to return it, Revane wouldn't let me in. I need to contact Bushell directly to…

Inaccurate for baseballs - add 5-8 mph to registered speed

Reviews state this gun shoots baseballs 5-8 mph slower than true speed, correct. I have a high school player who worked on pro gear at burgeoning college camps. This weapon constantly recognizes that it is AT LEAST 8 km/h slower and often much more. Bushnell's gun can still be useful for getting a general idea of how hard a pitcher is throwing and if he's making progress. However, you CANNOT use it to determine the official rate for recruitment purposes. He moves too deep for that. Standing…

The best weapon for beginners when learning speed and agility

Find out what kind of gun it is before you buy it. If you're looking for a radar that lets you sit in row 30 of a shop front and get accurate numbers, this is NOT your weapon. This weapon is not for the professional scout or for those who require chronograph-level accuracy. At the same time he does his job for 90 dollars. As the owner of both this and the Pocket Radar Ball Coach I can attest that this gun has +/- 3 mph with the Pocket Radar provided accurate aiming is used. The range isn't…
