First of all this box arrived to me already crumpled and worn. How thoughtful to give it that "lived in" look that is so fashionable today. The box wasn't damaged at all. This was made to stock or when returned by the customer and boxed as new. Who knows? Anyway, it's basically a children's castle. My son's toy safe is stronger than this one. I could open it with my bare hands and I'm a girl with small hands, not a big muscle guy with meat hooks. I would never use this for any form of security. Pretty much only good enough to be a key organizer, not a key safe. The metal is thin and pliable and could probably just be ripped off the wall if you just wanted to grab it and open it later. Useless to me. Send back.
