It's a little shorter than I expected but great quality
I give 5 stars because I didn't read the specifications. The lamp is a little shorter than I expected. He's definitely still working in my bedroom; however, it can be 6-12 inches larger. Since it's behind my chair in the reading corner I just took a small 8" box and installed the base and it looks great. The bolted sections are seamless, you don't see where they are bolted. The paint is powder coated so it gives a matte finish and is not likely to be scratched or cracked easily. Very happy with this purchase.
