The hardware works once you adjust to the valve size, the software is a different story.

The included strap that attaches to the valve is too small for the 3/4" valve. I had to create an extension of about an inch to allow the device to properly position itself over the valve lever. I only want local control over WiFi on the LAN so can't use the smart home app which is a security nightmare.Flashed the device with Tuya-convert to Tasmota firmware and wrote a simple android application to work with the built in web server. Works for me now. Can't lose the price.
