Installation without removing the engine and raising the cab. The engine will be raised far enough to place the 2x4 under the engine mounts. The oil cooler was removed to lower the oil pan far enough to clean the surface with a pneumatic wire brush. You must completely clean the old seal. I then placed one side of the gasket over and into the oil pan, then slid the other side up and over the pan mounting studs, and then over the studs on the other side. Use some transmission gel to hold the center gasket in place on the front and rear ends of the oil pan. Lift the pan and tighten the nuts. As you do this, check the seal around the perimeter to make sure it is in the correct position. I suggest a lot of power for people on a budget and this works great if you clean the surfaces well. I don't use silicone or sealant and it never leaks.
