I bought this to fit over the door in my kitchen which has very little storage space. I was hoping to store a few cans and cans, but mostly light stuff like pasta, coffee beans, paper towels, etc. I didn't screw it in because it's a hollow door; I used masking tape to stick it to the door which is really stupid. This lasted about a month, and then the weight of the stored things bent the wire and ripped off the ribbon hanging precariously on a dangerous slope. . ok my mistake So I finally did what others recommended; I bought tiny command hooks and attached them horizontally to the sides and some vertically in the middle of the shelves. I'll see how it works, but I don't think it can store what I really need, which sucks. . On the other hand, it's cheap.
