Amazing light, top quality. My plants are well bred, grow well and grow fast. The light spectrum is amazing. I installed it with the default 24/7 setting and it doesn't produce algae. I haven't tried custom settings. It creates a really nice atmosphere and simulates sunrise/sunset and different times of the day. It makes your aquarium look brighter inside and out. I have received compliments on this lamp. My fish like it, they are more relaxed and happier. I install it on a Current USA Orbit LED tank (found here at Revain) with an adjustable bracket. I modified the bracket a bit to hold this Finnex LED and it worked perfectly. The aquarium looks stylish. I wish Finnex could make these mounts for their own LEDs. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because we're living in 2020 and it doesn't have a digital clock built into the frame with hours, minutes and seconds so we can adjust it to the actual time of day and we could use it to set the exact time. It simply allows you to align the time of day (on your watch) with preset time slots on your remote control. Another problem with this is let's say it's 8pm now and there is a power outage, once power is restored the light goes out at 6am when it could be 8pm or any other time when the power goes out returns. If you don't want to install it at least once in a while when the power goes out then buy it anyway, we don't have frequent power outages. In summary, this is one of the best LED lights for your fish and plants. It has real red LED lights that plants love. Fish are not blinded by the light so they are not stressed like I said above this is just perfect. Your fish and plants will thank you if you improve their quality of life.
