I like it; wanted a flashing red light with audible alarm that took 120 VAC directly and could be mounted in a steel enclosure (22mm). Perfect! It’s not super loud which could be good or bad, depending on your application. It would be nice if volume was adjustable, but they do not claim that. Only about 80 dBA measured straight out at 12 inches in open air (hanging from wires). You can probably make it louder or softer with different experimental mounting configurations. Approximately 1 sec ON / 1 sec OFF duty cycle with light/sound together. I am using it as a garage door open alert - during a configurable 24 hour period (e.g. 10PM to 6Am) if the (attached garage) garage door is left open, the alarm will sound. I designed an adjustable 0-60 min entry/exit delay with indicator "timing now” light and a "snooze” button for coming in late or leaving early without setting it off. Also, if the external passenger door opens during the clock armed time, it will sound immediately without delay. I’ve had the garage door stay open all night several times and have had the passenger door blow open at night because someone didn’t click it shut. Really bugs me. Mostly worried about the wide variety of critters that will come in when given the opportunity. It will be mounted near the garage door nearest the house. Quick test of just the alarm determined I can hear it anywhere inside when it is fairly quiet - sleeping or watching TV - without being super annoying if someone is near it when it goes off in the garage. If someone made such a device, I wouldn’t have had to buy this and all the other parts, but I couldn’t find anything simple like this. Thanks!
