It's quiet, doesn't have dimming capability or Wi-Fi connectivity, but the quiet operation is worth it. I had another device and it made a loud buzz and the wifi never worked. And it will flicker randomly. It's good, it's basic, but it works and I can finally sleep without earplugs. Just a note. I had to play around with remote switches. If your remote doesn't work, just open the battery compartment and use a small screwdriver to flip those little switches for whatever reason. The instructions say the switches match the remote, but that didn't work when I did. I just started trying different combinations on the remote and after about a minute I found one that worked.
