poor quality control! I bought 3 of them. Two of the three had electrical connections; 7 pin plastic male to 7 pin male connector between motor and switch at the bottom which was very difficult to connect. One of them was incorrectly connected. See my attached photos of correctly and incorrectly connected contacts! I spent an hour trying to figure out why a fan wasn't working. Turns out the black wire that is the hot side for the motor and the blue wire that is the hot side for the lights were swapped!. I bypassed the black wire; Unplugged and plugged in straight away. Since I'm not using a light kit, I left the blue wire alone. The connectors are keyed so they only connect one way but are very poorly made with cheap pins. This is terrible quality control! Buyer warning! At or below the price you can find fans of similar quality at a large store and return them if they're miswired too!
