Look, I've tried literally every Shurline paint applicator (not a pro, just a depressed girl going through an existential crisis , who decided to redecorate her whole apartment on a whim at 3am), but they all have a few things in common: • they break • the sticks never seem to stay on the applicator (I had to use tape to attach them to hold) • About as durable as those cheap and disposable foam art brushes that always break after 10 minutes of use. Conclusion: they work; My only issue with Shurline products is that they are overpriced for what they are. I consider each applicator (including pad) to be disposable as NO refills are left behind. I really recommend getting the Shurline Handi Painter - essentially the same, but it's $2.99 and actually lasts a lot longer than the 7" and 9" applicators (but it's made out of foam).
