Thing works pretty well. In particular, I attached it to the back of the monitor with a suction cup and the light has been working without problems for 2 days. It also briefly (well) stuck to the back of my Mac laptop screen. The light has adjustable warmth, and I've found that it only makes a big difference for my video calls when it's set to "cool" (bright white) warmth. All in all, this works very well when you need light. Zoom and MacBook Pro turned out to work fine without a backlight, so I couldn't tell much of a difference. but this thing does exactly what it says on the tin! And it absolutely doesn't take up more table space, which is great. 2 notes to the manufacturer on changes: 1) I had to shorten the rubber cover a bit to allow easier access to the controls (see image). It's okay, just a paper knife for 2 seconds, but it was a bit annoying. Before that, it was difficult to establish control. 2) I would NOT put the charge port on top. It looks silly to leave it plugged into an outlet. The side or bottom is a much better place for it.
