Okay listen to me, I've been using this monitor for a little over a month now. I've put together a somewhat exhaustive list of pros and cons. *NOTE, subjective disadvantages are listed separately *Pro: compatible with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort <3 Wonderful user interface, easy to access and understand! (Access the menu via the monitor's back button) Additional blue light filter, I really like this feature. On Windows it can be built in, but it's kinda crap 🤷♀️ Cons: Backlight "bleeds". I think someone else posted a picture of BLB here. If not, the backlight will appear bright through the display, colors, etc. It's a bit painful for the eyes. HDMI has some minor display issues. Periodically I notice "flickering". In particular, the horizontal tear 😢, which can be a manufacturer error, doesn't bother me that much. However, it has a VERY solid stand! Cons: IMO external power supply, for those of you who don't know, it's a small power supply that helps power the unit up. * Only minus, because cable management problems 😑 henceforth subjective * Pros/cons: it depends. The stand is great! It is very durable and easy to attach to the back of the monitor. HOWEVER, it may (improperly) detach if lifted from the base rather than the monitor itself. (This has been verified for your convenience 💙) All in all, if this monitor broke for me tomorrow, there's a 75% chance I'd buy a new one. The remaining 25% are smaller monitors for work purposes.
