I bought it under Ryzen, so the rating is 4. The peculiarity of Ryzen is that the CPU die is narrow and rectangular and is located under the cover so that the tubes of this cooler run parallel, not across. Yes, Ryzen has solder and a lid, but it still turns out that there are only 2 tubes out of 4 above the CPU chip. Because of this, the 8-core 1700 under overclocking 3800 at 1.3 V in stress tests already gains temperature above comfortable in 1 minute (I think above 65 is no longer good), because according to the Tctrl sensor of the CPU core, this is already 80. In games, it’s about 60, but there the processor is not 100% loaded by cores. If you look at the discussions of coolers for Ryzen, then Noctua, Thermalright Macho Rev. B are praised, and their tubes are soldered to the base and the pressure to the processor is not with tubes, but with a solid copper plate. By the way, water cooling systems also have solid contact. In general, this cooler will probably be good on Ryzen 1600, but I'm already thinking about CBO on my 1700.
