I needed a bag for lunch and other essentials. This bag was the answer. It doesn't have a cardboard backing so expect it to fall off (I don't mind that with this bag because it just means I can place my stuff however I want). As it sags, it may take some time to grab the main pocket zippers. It doesn't have padded shoulder straps (as you can see in the pictures) so don't over-stuff the bag to avoid straining your shoulders. The bag has multiple pockets for everything you need, such as drinks, lipstick/lip balm/lip gloss, wallet, some books, umbrella, etc. The design makes it look like a luxury item. I really like this bag. It holds up very well; My bag is less than a month old. I usually take good care of my stuff (I've had clothes, shoes, and even video games for years and they still look brand new), but nothing has come loose, ripped, or torn. Comes with a clutch/purse. I don't use it (I don't use clutches and I prefer smaller wallets) but it's a nice bonus. Oh, there wasn't an unpleasant smell when I took it out of the box. All in all a great bag! Update: The bag still looks great and is still functional. I have found that the adjustment buckles sometimes loosen over time so you may need to adjust them from time to time. The zipper on the main compartment is broken. I couldn't close it and my teeth split in half. Where the teeth started to work (on one side of the bag) the zipper couldn't get through so I could never try to zip the entire bag back up. It was nice while it lasted. After some time I would say don't buy this bag for everyday use. Get this bag if you are going on an unusual trip/tour. For everyday use I recommend getting a bag that is a bit more durable and has some padding in the straps because let's face it - over time you add more content to the bag and it gets heavy. I kept the clutch anyway (it comes with a long strap so you can wear it like a crossbody bag).
