Review on π₯ Pertronix 6-Cylinder Nippon Ignition by Wendell Chapman
It caught fire, it should have been sooner!
After having spark problems during cold starts on my fj60, I switched to fj40 point distributors and replaced points with Pertronix. The starter hardly turns, but starts again! My ONLY issue with Pertronix is that only one screw hole fits, I very carefully opened up the other beveled hole to only use 2 screws to attach the plate. I am very happy that my truck is back!
