The instructions state that this disc is compatible with MacOS. NO, THAT IS NOT SO. DO NOT BUY THIS LG IF YOU PLAN TO USE IT WITH A MAC. My MacBook Pro with the latest Sierra OS does NOT recognize this LG drive. I contacted LG and got a reply telling me that if I want to use the LG drive I need to download different programs from different websites. Also, the additional software CD that came with the drive is unreadable and I can't get the CD in macOS format. Below is an email from an LG representative:
