I purchased this item on November 22, 2017 and one side of this device worked only once. I have been calling Hamilton Beach twice a week since December 1st, 2017. Every time I hear a robot telling me Hamilton is very busy and will have to wait 15 minutes or you can leave a message and someone will call me back immediately. Here is January 24, 2018 and the message remains the same. You still get inundated with calls. I understand! This double-sided FlexBrew coffee maker in Hamilton Beach is REAL junk, and no one from Hamilton Beach wants to be held responsible for the junk they sell to Americans who they put a computer in to create a stupid message. I challenge people never to be a piece of junk, if you do this the company will push you so badly that you just give up
