The skimmer works well when it works. Two main problems.

The electrical connection on the back is very weak. You have to constantly fiddle with it to stay in place. The belt that the skimmer uses will warp over time and won't stay on the pulley, requiring you to keep buying new belts. Check out the price of the straps, they are $70-$90 for a $10 strap. You often have to replace them, which seems like a rip off to me. I change brands.
