Review on 💻 Gigabyte G27Q-SA 2560X1440P Monitor with FreeSync, HDR, and Flicker-Free Technology by Jesse Lang

Edit: 4/5/22 Works great so far (1 year old) and doesn't notice any BGR layout or dead pixels. They released the M27Q-X with 240Hz which still makes it a better buy. I like the KVM feature. Now if I had to buy another monitor it would be a pretty big upgrade compared to the 2x price. --------- I found it good that, despite the strange delivery, water got into the box, but it arrived dry. home, and with all the poor quality controls, it loaded right away! The screen is really bright and the colors are vibrant. IPS is something I really missed compared to a G-Sync TN panel every day. It features simple controls on the right rear of the monitor with a knob to control settings. Everything is already included right out of the box, like FreeSync which is G-Sync compatible. Everything is sharper and more detailed when going from 1080p to 1440p, and my GTX 1660 Ti handles games with ease. The downside is that I don't think the software on this monitor is the best. I set automatic shutdown to 30 minutes and restarted after enabling this setting. I went back to turn that setting off and it was off, as if the monitor knew I didn't like what it was doing. After that, all I had to do was make sure everything was set to 170Hz and my game was set to 1440p. For some reason it went back to 60hz in windows 10 display settings so I changed it back but nothing too annoying once you get that sorted out. I recommend this is the best 1440p monitor for the price above anything else. I even checked for dead/stuck pixels and ran tests to find no issues. It is definitely worth using more expensive monitors with poorer timings and latencies via G-Sync or VA. Last thing to mention is BGR instead of RGB and the apps might look weird to some people but I can't tell and I've been trying to figure out the difference but my eyes are watering too much because it's so bright is. All in all, get this monitor and make sure everything is fine with it. I'll update more if I find anything else.
